At The Farm to Table Co., we are redefining the way we grow and consume fresh produce.

Across California, the tremendous effects of climate change- severe drought and extreme weather- are impacting food production. Additionally, E.coli outbreaks coupled with plant disease are significantly impacting supply. In 2022 alone, leafy green yields in California were down 30%. Stores across North America were left without produce on the shelves, and restaurants were being forced to prepare food without leafy greens or to remove leafy green items entirely from their menus. 

We KNEW there had to be a better, more consistent way of doing things. This posed the question, "how can we make a difference?" So, in 2021 we began our journey. Our team of experts in agriculture, food manufacturing, and engineering share a deep commitment to sustainability, innovation and community.

The Farm to Table Co. is a startup company with a primary long-term goal of pioneering a sustainable agricultural industry through the development of economically viable climate-smart produce. Foods will be grown in a way that uses minimal natural resources while simultaneously combating climate change. Construction of a controlled environment agriculture farm employing North America's first fully sustainable process will result in increased food production without expanding agricultural land, thus protecting valuable natural resources and reducing agriculture-related greenhouse gas emissions.

Reducing agricultural emissions will be one of the greatest challenges in the coming decades. To accomplish this, we will need a wide range of solutions, from reducing food waste to improving agricultural efficiency and investing in technologies that make low-carbon food alternatives scalable and affordable. Adaptive innovation will be the only way for the world to feed nearly 10 million people by mid-century while still meeting climate change goals and reducing pressures on the broader environment. The Farm to Table Co. is boldly positioning itself to be a leader in this fight. We believe that by working together, we can create a healthier, more sustainable future for generations to come.
